Do you think social media is good for teens?

In our opinion, social media is good and beneficial for teens because we can access the social media for 24 hours. From social media, we can increase our knowledge by searching for more up to date information. However, as teenagers we should also be able to sort out the Information we get and don’t be affected by hoax.

Social media also has advantages. It helps teenagers to express themselves, by exposing something they like. Social media can be accessed by people around the world, it means teenagers can have a lot of friends, even though they never met in real life. Social media also can be a source for information, there is a lot of accounts talking about recipes, health care, education, and many more.

Beside of that, social media can have negative side as well. If teenagers get addicted using social media, it would be end up wasting their time. Their obligation to study can be disrupted if they can’t control themselves. Also when teenagers spend too much time, it will causes mental health issues. Because you see other people’s “perfect life” frequently.

For the conclusion, it has so many advantages and disadvantages. It all depends on how we use it. If we can use it wisely and control ourselves, it can lead us into a good positive side of social media.
